Obviously, the Apple store if there's one in your area. We have Microcenter, which is a small chain, which seems to provide exceptional service - at least when I bought one from them. I don't think that the big boxes have figured out how to sell anything, let alone Macs so I'd use them as the proverbial "port in the storm" as their pricing on Apple is not exceptionally good.
